I know- we've had favorite and hardest monsters but we haven't had scariest monsters! Yes, I remember the first time I played G4 Sunbathing- I came out of it with a shiver, a blank expression and a twitching triggerfinger. But since then, I've been subject to even more scary frights- the growl of th...

O.K., advice taken. I've kept the terminals, but have started a whole new map, one with a much more fortress-like atmosphere. It is not a tight as the old map, and I'm going to make the heights simpler so that I have no texturing or platform problems. It's not finished yet, of course, but any critic...

There's actually a whole lot more of the level- the heights for the polygons just didn't work in Pfhorge- it says 250 to 500 height- but all I see is a wall at the aforementioned point (in the southern circular room; the inaccessible cave is not meant to be gotten into), and the ceiling heights are ...

Sorry. As I said, it does need a lot of improvement. Here are the terminals of S'pht genesis: ***P.S. Hi. I have created my VERY FIRST map for Aleph One SDL (in a Pfhorge document format). However, problems with my computer prevent me from sorting out the texturing and platform problems, but I am still happy with the layout; that said, it needs a lot of work. One thing I am proud of, however, is the...

I found the completed chapter one of Return to Marathon on The Archives, finished it, finished it again, and wondered, is it ever going to be completed? It's not on the Project Orphanage, and I think music for the opening screen has been added recently, so, is it still even in business? I would be e...

I believe, personally, that Eternal X is my second favorite scenario, after Rubicon X. I just loved how they incorporated both sets of toys from M1 and M2/I, and how the storyline just seems to fit perfectly. However, I did find some untextured walls, and the music, which in some places I did like, ...

Yesterday, I downloaded the Aleph One versions of Marathon, Durandal and Infinity. Yeah, OK. But then, I noticed the M1A1 Special Edition and M2 Special Edition on the Orbital Arm scenario page. And they DO mean special edition. M1A1SE: Well, to start, they've jiggled around the color tables (I can ...

I've found a good copy of Pfhorge- but ONLY THE APPLICATION- as it's not freestanding, apparently, I don't know how to get it to work properly. I can get to the map making screen, but I can't save properly, or enter visual mode at all. It doesn't recognize the scripts I try to use (they work fine fo...

Fighting Bobs on Confound Delivery is easy. For the first set of Bobs, I prefer to dive in with full 2x Shields, left over from the secret canister in the SMG room in Poor Yorick, with a flamethrower, jumping for cover between the subsets or if a F'lickta becomes involved. Or, use the secret door in...
