Re: M1 Hd Weapons Redux
Fists: motion blur isn't nice rocket launcher: still suffers from the same clipping problem as stock weapons do on 16:9 https://github.com/Aleph-One-Marathon/alephone/issues/37 assault rifle: the wobbliness and lack of fire animation blur makes it more kiddy-looking compared to the well-done pistol ...

Possible to map weapons to numbers?
Scrolling with the mouse wheel takes ages and is annoying. Is it possible to assign weapons to numbers like in pretty much every single other 2.5D game?

Goran's Infinity textures, at 1024x1024?
Goran's textures included with Infinity and on Simplici7y are all at 512x512, did he ever make or release a 1024x1024 copy of his texture sets?

Re: Complete Marathon 1 Music Remaster
djkontraktor, would you be able to add these to a zip file and upload it to google/mega/dropbox? I don't have a soundcloud account, and it would be more convenient for myself and others just to download a single file.

Marathon 1 needs a serious facelift.
Hey guys. I've noticed that recently a lot of work has been put into making Marathon 2 and Infinity look better than ever, and this is fantastic. Why, though, has there been relatively so little work put into the original Marathon in terms of graphical updates? For one thing, it's fair to assume tha...

Re: Simplici7y status update
It's somewhat funny that the week I decide to play through Marathon 2/Infinity for the first time is the week that Simplici7y goes down. But thanks so much for running it all these years.

Re: Aleph One 1.3a1: testers wanted
I'm on the second level of Marathon Infinity now and there is annoying and constant audio popping. It seems to happen at the end of every ambient audio loop. What I have tried to do to fix it: -Change audio devices from Audiobox USB DAC to built in Realtek audio chip -Change from 48khz to 44.1khz -C...

Aleph One Alpha v1.3.x status?
Following up from this thread: http://pfhorums.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=39075 it was mentioned that a new alpha would be released for testing. I'm asking to express my interest in testing it if/when it's released. I'm currently using 1.3a1 as my "daily driver" for my first run through ...

What exactly does "limit vertical view" do? No observable differences on my end.

Re: unofficial update to m1 redux
Some constructive feedback. The fists look great, though the black outline on them is not present on any other weapon. The pistol is too blocky in comparison with the rest of the weapons. The assault rifle is too blurred in comparison with the rest of the weapons. The fusion pistol looks good. Haven...

True, if this was laid out clearly for noob like me it would make a lot more sense.

Re: Save Function Crashes My Game
Your game might not have write access to the save folder. Try running as administrator, if this gets tiring to do every time, just disable UAC. What is your operating system?

3. ----- Disabling auto-switch weapons doesn't work in singleplayer. When the rounds of my pistol or AR deplete, I still fall back on another weapon I thought that setting just meant that when you pick up a new weapon, the game doesn't automatically switch you to holding that weapon against your wi...

Pity this doesn't work correctly in the newest engine build -- the updated sprites seem stretched.
