Re: Animate Me This
The expression is great. Keep going. I used to make animated gifs a long time ago. Frame by frame in photoshop, but haven't in years. Don't ask for samples, it was really long ago, and if I have anything saved, it would take forever to find. Thanks. I did another frame by frame animation today but ...

I've also done a cutout lit sprite shader that can also rotate on the Y axis with any gameObject components for my games if you want it.

Re: GZMarathon
You're right, it's not enough code for a working FPS game. A developer would have to make the other systems. I can make all the systems, then another creator makes the scenario. MIT license your Marathon scenario so I can use it. You mean you're gonna code an engine for Unity and I'll make the asse...

Re: GZMarathon
I sorta was planning on doing a modifiable engine from Unity that can load data and support custom entities but I never could get myself to do it. I'm about to learn to make an editor for my homebrew Xbox engine as a Unity app so if I had less projects going on then I would had helped.

Re: Marathon replication project
Why remake/port an already existing game when you can use your talents on an original title?

Re: Creating a map converter
Thank you. I'll take your advice and go with portal rendering for the game. For the DirectX part, I can show an example mesh generation of it.

Re: Creating a map converter
No I mean I'm making new engines using DirectX 8 on the OG Xbox and has a level generator idea similar to Marathon's except true 3D without portals. It's a retro engine that makes a map from a file with predefined coords for vertices, walls, sectors and uv settings. I think you can help with getting...

Re: Creating a map converter
I actually meant for my own engine using a custom file format. I usually does that. I can cook up an example and show if needed.

Re: Creating a map converter
Hello. I was gonna DM you about something similar to this. But for my Homebrew Xbox engines. As in convert a simple text file with vertex and sector details into a map. Since you've asked this just recently I add this up.

Re: Build Custom Engine from AO's Source Code
You mean share the source code when the engine's done? I think I can't have use of it if so. Unless someone's wiling to port it to a system that I ask them to.

Yes. Making the player forget about the issue seems not that well thought out right now.
If the patrick post was for me that is.

Re: “Your suit has been modified”
This might have been a developer mistake from M1 that they made sense of later.
Possibly not thought about it already being in M1 but they probably thought it wouldn't mind by letting the players imagine it isn't actual there.
