Re: Eternal X 1.2
Eternal 1.2 was already released. I think it is about time to close the thread for 1.2 for now. Not like this thread was really meant for anything but development anyways.

Re: Marathon Chronicles
I don't really have very many level names for the scenario, because I got stuck on almost every level very badly.

Re: Marathon Chronicles
So, basically, this scenario is the most difficult scenario I have ever seen. It is difficult in the fact that the levels are super hard to figure out due to all the secrets that are required to beat the level. The only way that I could really see someone playing through this entire scenario is if a...

Re: Marathon Chronicles
Will we see a release soon with some informational terminals soon? I find it really difficult to play without knowing the object of the levels. I hope you get better soon though, so good luck!

Re: Eternal X 1.2
Ah, Flight of Icarus with it's three texture collections. We actually tested that one rather extensively in co-op (Spooky, Raptor, and I) after I wrote a script to dynamically change the underwater fog in co-op games. Of course, I'm on Linux, Spooky I think is on Mac, but I think Raptor had windows...

Is Chronicles a type of sequel to Eternal? I thought Aaron got inspiration from it.

Are there any plans to add a Hathor boss fight in the future still? Also, are there any plans for a sequel, or additional levels?

Re: Eternal X 1.2
The scenario itself is not too difficult, and you could finish it within two weeks of off and on play if you really wanted to. There are not that many secrets, but I recommend checking out the Marathon: Vidmaster's challenge and occasional metal series on youtube. That would help you avoid some of t...

looks like you have some pretty cool ideas, I don't believe I have seen any alternate textures specifically made for Marathon Infinity. Good luck on your art and stuff.

Re: PSA: Marathon: Durandal XBLA is now playable on Xbox One
Glad to hear that Durandal is finally compatible on XB1. Took them way too long to finally port over this game. I certainly wish that they would remake the entire trilogy on XB1, but the odds of someone porting them again is highly unlikely.

Re: Eternal X 1.2
I can confirm that the game is complete-able, and it runs well. I have only encountered two error so far, and both of those were on maps with precipitation. The maps "A Friend in Need" and "The Incredible Hulk" both have an issue where save files from those maps will not reload a...

This project looks pretty fun. Does anyone know how to convert map packs for this game? I might be interested in adding a few maps if it is possible.

Re: Marathon: Inferno
This is why around here we make fun of people who just announce a project or scenario while it's in the idea phase, because 99/100 times nothing ever actually becomes of it. Having project ideas is great! But don't make announcements before there's anything to show for it, it won't be well received...

Re: Eternal X 1.2
PR merged, though I am wondering if perhaps it might be a good idea to have a separate Netmaps merge folder apart from the main merge folder? Also, with how much work it sounds like these net maps have to go, if we get to a point where the solo scenario is ready to release and we're waiting on net ...

Re: Eternal X 1.2
Hey, thanks Raptor! I made my own netmap to go with them, and worked them into the merge. I also added precipitation, skulls, and hills as appropriate, and music where music was specified. Absurd though these maps may be, having netmaps is an awesome milestone. PR up ! Aaron's map got fallout - and...

Marathon Legends Netmap in Eternal X 1.2
I recently finished re-texturing and redoing all the weapons on the entire original map pack. I also recently redesigned the Spooky map entirely. If you guys want, you can make changes to these, I have heard rumors about an ember effect. I recommend using that effect on some of the maps in this pack...

Re: Eternal X 1.2
I'm not sure if this was a joke or a serious idea, but someone by the name of Raptor PM'd me this netmap. It's a bit basic, and I had to change some placements to work, but it is large enough for the WMC. I actually did a re-skin of the Marathon: Legends map "Windbreaker" in Eternal. It i...

@radburn, I am not seeking help on this project at the moment, I am merely announcing it. To elaborate, this story will tell the tale of a man on his journey through the various circles of hell, like in the story of Inferno. The story will start to slowly be pieced together as you go through the lev...

Marathon: Inferno
Recently, I have begun working on a new scenario for Marathon. This scenario will be loosely based around Dante's Inferno, which is an old poem about the struggles that a man goes through as he passes the circles of hell to get to heaven. This scenario will most likely be finished by next year.
