My 1494 polygon map was lost when Pfhorge crashed, and I redid it from scratch, maybe in a day because my memory of the place was so fond, if thats any help. i know its just so depressing when stuff like that happens... just gotta push through. hope thats motivation for yah. good luck, this looks cool.

Screenshots, HO!

The current remake of one of the Jjaro levels I lost. It's turning out a lot more dark and cramped feeling than the last one, but that could be for the better.

That's not fair, I think it looks rather good, but I haven't played the demo (I didn't even know there was one!!)... so who knows.

From September 2007: Marathon C demo
Actually it's called Marathon C: Version 7, but whatever. IMO, it's a demo.

Yeah, I played it last night. Very old-school, I like it a lot.

If you read my first post, initial projections were no more than 15, though it's possible for a player to skip ahead or backtrack depending on their actions.

I might make it less just to keep things moving and to make the plot a little more unified. I'll be happy with anywhere close to 10, but I'm not really keeping track.

I played the demo just today, and I enjoyed it. The map making looked incredible, my favorite part being the lighting. It seems just dark enough to look good, without inhibiting play or anything.

I haven't yet played it, but the fact that Ryok is giving you positive comments on this means it's probably pretty damn good.

lookin' mighty fine, Goran -played the first few levels... Very classic. Texture choice is outstanding.....Enemy placement is good too. Got to level 3...ouch...right off the bat..toasted by an enforcer, served up with pickles n' olives (as is the custom). Portal thing was good too, one little HOM near the beginning, no big deal though...
tried out A1 0.22....so far so good...
I wish all the best success with this-you've made a cracking good first start of it.....

Wow. I enjoyed the maps very much; I hope not to see Codename: Marathon C fall into discontinuation. Can't wait for the whole thing!

Yeah, yeah, Treellama, I stand corrected
how would you like to be addressed
Mjolnir Mark IV Cyborg, Zephyrus, or what

anyhew, Got about to level 3-5 when Aleph tried to load the next level (Treehill, but that's a shot in the dark)
then it quit

good start though....

I don't think I had any level even approaching the name "Treehill." Try again?

Anyboo with Irons MIA, I'm going to need a new LUA scripter/playtester; someone experienced. I'd say the scenario, if I plan for a modest size, will be about 4-5 maps and some clever scripting away from being done for those of you waiting for the next release.

I would be more than happy to weigh in on the playtesting side of things but LUA scripting eludes me.

Hmm. Have you asked Irons? He's pretty good with lua scripts. What do you think Irons?

That's what I thought. I was confused on multiple levels by that post. Not just the referring himself, but also from the overall message of his "We can let this happen" thread. Now while I take most things I read on the internet with a grain of salt, I assumed that, and the trouble I've been having getting in touch with him in the preceding weeks, were signs that I should search for a new scripter.
