This reminds me of all the ideas that I want to unveil and not act on.

Why does it sound like you're specifically referring to me?
Yeah, I'm kind of kicking myself for not getting on Grendel sooner. I often promise myself I'll get onto it as best I can within the constraints of real life, but every time I just kind of beat around the bush with Grendel-y thoughts without really doing anything. Call it whatever you want (first word that comes to my mind is 'laziness'), but the facts are obvious; I need to get on that bandwagon and start putting more of my spare time into Grendel. Maybe eventually I'll actually finish a level - now wouldn't that be something?

I'm pretty sure lazy shitheads talking up imaginary projects for Marathon has been a thing since, I dunno, 1994. Don't worry about it too much, Perseus.
Maybe all newcomers should be forced to think smaller early on.
Like imagine Marathon 1 being one level long, with all the other levels being explained in terminals by unseen secondary characters.

OK, we'll let you handle forcing newcomers to think a certain way.
