Much better with the rockets.
As for the TOZT, I think that weapon may have a real life counterpart, if this is true you can just take a true to life picture of it and have that as a weapon sprite.

Does anybody remember what this thing is <see pic> what level is it on?

Alien brain or chip or something....can't remember. I found it in the shapes file. Been a while since I playe - If its required I will make an updated sprite for it.

I think that thing is called an "Alien Energy Converter" in M1A1. Don´t know if it´s called that in the original Marathon.

Hey guys, the Alien Energy Converter is the item you need to pick up slightly before you are getting teleported on board the pfhor ship...it's so you can access the pfhor power outlets and still be able to recharge your shields with it. [MGrin]

You only see it on one occasion in the game, though..it's amidst lava in the level Habe Quiddam and it's a gift from Durandal

It will allow you to slay more Pfhor. Does that make you happy?

I've downloaded this pack today. Looks sweet, thanks! I've noticed ammo boxes look very very different from originals, and the grenade launcher ammo looks a bit too plain, I'd like to see some complexity..
I started modeling my own versions of ammo boxes which I made look very close to originals, just have to texture them and make proper sprites.

Marathon's old, yet the youngest fan still has the next 80 or so years to play it...

Thanks for the input Tek - I originally started this as a spare time project.
-I am hoping to make new sprites for some of the borrowed items, so that it can be 100% original. But like anything it takes time.

I like the AR ammo you made, I am hoping to have something similar in my next release. But I want to concentrate on fixing the napalm cannister 1st then, I'll get back to the AR & Pistol ammo.

Not sure what I'll put in my next release as things are getting fancy, the original idea of this project was simplicity.
Will see how I go, i guess.

Cheers

Alien Energy Convertor is done. <see pic>
-I have also converted the 'm1redux' into a Plugin aswell for easy(ier) use. Just testing it now.
-Looking at making things seperate too. IE... you can just turn on 'items' or 'in-hand weapons'...or both. Not sure if its possible. Will see.

I was hoping to redo the ammo sprites to make them original too...but will see how I go for time. Rebuilding them from scratch will take some time.

(I have to admit though... the plugin feature is very kewl)

I have released my m1redux and m23redux as 'Plugin's for easy use with the new version of AlephOne.
Can be found on Simplici7y

http://www.simplici7y.com/

I have also repacked the other MODs as 'Plugin's by Tim Vogel, Visciom & Nardo.
I am emailing and awaiting Tim Vogel, Visciom, Nardo @ Bungie's permission regarding if they are re-releasing as Plugin's. OR if they mind if I release on Simplici7y on their behalf.

Until then...they are for my personal archives.

Pity this doesn't work correctly in the newest engine build -- the updated sprites seem stretched.
