Read that about one million times before asking it on this site. If you do ask it, I might just ban you.

Honestly, guys, there's a search function if you don't want to look through posts manually.
THERE IS NO VERSION OF FORGE OR ANVIL FOR OS X

Has anyone tried asking Bungie for the source?

ATi Radeon X800 XT (GPU overclocked to 500MHz, VRAM to 550MHz)

I don't have a source for you right now 'cause I'm lazy, but I'm pretty sure that Bungie have said that they lost the source for Forge and Anvil a long time ago.

In that case, could we ask Bungie for permission to reverse engineer Forge & Anvil?

I don't think Bungie would object, but with shapefusion + weland + vml I don't think there's really any need these days.

Are you sure? I thought Forge & Anvil had certain features Weland & others didn't.

If anything they have fewer features.

Forge has Visual Mode built into it, so testing and texturing a map is easier. But Weland has a lot more features, gives you more control over some of the things you do, and doesn't have some of the bugs and glitches you'll find in Forge (and it doesn't stop you at 1024 polygons). There's probably other stuff too, I don't remember.
People have also asked for the source repeatedly. If I remember correctly, Bungie blamed a submarine sinking or something on having lost this code forever.
