When is Irons coming back?
OK guys, a few weeks ago, irons quit for good. So, post when you think he's coming back. Price-is-right rules, winner gets, oh, I don't know. Maybe that scenery in the sewage set that looks like a trophy.
I say, before Memorial Day. Since I have to pick an actual day, I'm going with September 4. He'll be back at school by then and long whistfully for the old temptress.

EDIT: Do we get a bonus prize if we guess what his next name will be too?

there is this thing called life that happens mostly away from the internet, while the allure of marathon is strong i support his effort to move on and do more productive things in his life. one of these days ima do the same. that said when he has more balance in his interests i'll bet he plays a bit pokes his head in from time to time, but i won't put a date on that.

I would support that too, but see, but that's not why he left.screamingfool wrote:there is this thing called life that happens mostly away from the internet, while the allure of marathon is strong i support his effort to move on and do more productive things in his life.
I don't think you're taking my post seriously enough. It's true. He hasn't left the computer, for one, and two, he literally told me that he left because his contest map didn't place well.I would support that too, but see, but that's not why he left.

He's still working on JUICE, right?

Seriously.
As far as I am aware, Irons has wiped everything related to Marathon from his machine, and he doesn't plan on returning to it. I wouldn't expect that to mean the end of JUICE development, or the end of his involvement with Marathon, but I'm indicating what I know.Lugas wrote:He's still working on JUICE, right?
I managed to recruit his help in creating a template for the Nuke & Pave Website, so it's not like he's joined the Sunshine Cult or Followers of Squiggy or anything.
Can't blame a guy for taking a break, though I can't help but be impressed by the spectacular fashion in which he did (does?) it.
