how to best defrag

ok im using one of the new intell macbooks, and i would like to know the best/easiest way to defragment...
what do you all sugest?

DON'T.
There is no reason, and it can cause problems.

You should defrag the windows partition for sure, just not the OS X partition.

And only if you (for some reason) formatted it as FAT32.

NTFS is a modern file system like HFS+, and doesn't really ever need to be defragmented.

I also was just wondering, since you got two partitions, what if one gets a "virus" or some critical error with the os. (preferibaly windows and its big black holes) would that affect the other partition and its preformance?
