Hey everyone. Here's three Marathon art pieces I've posted on my deviatart.com account:

For use in WMaiD

From what Forrest told me, he liked the marine I drew for him so much this Chapter screen for Eternal was scrapped. THe backwards facing marine wound up in ETERNAL's endscreen. Jay Faircloth was a huge help on this one with perspective advice and such.

My first foray into both 3D animation and Marathon art - created years ago in highschool.

hey guys this is posted in the SM topic but it relates to you artists:
Dieselfame3 wrote:While painting my friends appartment today I had a vision of epic proportions relating to Starship Marathon. Now for the longest time I wanted this TC to have the same style as the other marathon games (as in the way their monsters/textures looked). But after my vision I came apon a better idea. Now the fan-art gallery in the pfhorums is quite active, we have a lot of artists in our community. I am thinking about having these artists chip in a bit (to both help me, and to get their work more in the public eye). I was thinking each artist could make 1 or 2 monsters for Starship Marathon in THEIR OWN style (please no crappy MS paint monsters)! This way SM will also be an art collabaration as well as an in-depth fps. Of course this will only work with the cooperation of all you artists out there. But I think this is a neat idea.... Tell me what you think.

Thanks! My whole family is good at art.
My dad has a website, it's still under construction though.
But you can still see some of his stuff.

I loved it, but the Pfhor fighter looked a bit too simple.

Also, Phobos, about your brother's 2nd picture, the magnum being held looks completely square. That's the only nasty thing I can say about it.

Oh man! Your brother almost had a good pic there! FIX THE UPPER BODY.
He looks somewhat obese. And if you can fix the face (optional) it'll be super good.

I don't agree with him! He looks muscular rather than obese! But that could be body armour. And the magnum on the second picture is completely square, and shouldn't be ignored.

That pink hunter is kind of fun. Perfect it, and you have something. I like that it plays against the feeling of the original but still looks mean.

a parody on rock the casbah
Its just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. Then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns and also he got a racecar. Is any of this getting through to you?

Internets all around! Bravo, best thing I've seen on the Pfhorums in weeks. Except that Aladdin joke, but that didn't really have anything to do with Marathon...

I don't see how the Spht could play the keyboard, but the picture is pretty amusing.
