I was wondering if anybody could please furnish me some textures. 128x128 is most likely fine, as I can't see myself doing anything Hi-Res.

What I need is:

grass
dark dirt
light dirt
gravel
rough stone

and generic spaceship textures.

Also need some scenery objects
- Food, like burgers/fries
- Packaging
- Machine debris

Yes I know EMR and Irae have done a lot of those textures already, nobody ever replies to my requests to sponge off their work.

Well I'm a little bit tied up with other projects right now. However if you ever consider making the textures yourself, check out this tutorial that I wrote: http://radiationhl2.awardspace.com/tc.html

Id be glad to give away ome of my unused textures... they are 512x512 but should work well in 128x128

Dark Dirt (no light dirt because I am using that one, the dakr dirt does not look very much like the light dirt)

Grass (I have a better one but it is just beastly so Ill see if I need it before I give it to you.)

Heres a road or something... you seem to want a modern scenario with burgers and fries :P... I plan on redoing this but might need it again...

I have a starbucks one too.

In my scenario I had wanted ot make a really realistic city at one point, but then decided it would look stupid and be impossible, so I made it 'unrealistic' (or at least not really much of a city anymore), and with realism comes commercialism; heh.

Well, it's not McDonalds per se, as they might get angry if I released something using their corporate logo (copywrite issues), but I was thinking of some sort of cafeteria/food/etc. Probably won't do the apples/bananas that EMR did, as that's too high-tech for me.

Other "Food" might be nice too, like fruit, bowls, plates, etc.

I tried to do my own textures, even got a freeware program that made textures seamless etc, but whenever i put them into Forge, even if i messed with the colors, they always look crappy.

Then write a mml script to use hi resolution textures.

Here's the secret.

Either you can ignore them in forge, texture the maps anyway then override the textures using MML, or you can try this secondary method.

Go to Anvil, Go to the walls your replacing. Make sure your in advanced user mode. Then search through the menus till you find the one that sets colors. Change that to 256. Go to "Interface" shapes and save the colortable for that. Go back to "Walls", and import the Interface colortable. Now, repaste in your custom shapes over the privious ones.

Save the Shapes and load it into Forge. Map away.

Hopefully, (And this is a big hopefully) The walls will look a little bit better. (Though not by much) And may make your texturing in Forge look nicer.

Thanks for the tip.

Problem with using XML and all that is that having just one high-res texture would look really out of place among 16-bit colors, would it not?
