Thats not that bad... I'd use it...good for rocky levels. Maybe paint it sandy colored and make a desert level...

Hmm let me see if i get get it to look kinda sandy.

EDIT:

Ok, heres the same texture that looks a little bit more sandy, I like it more.
Also another thing I was playing with. the second one dose not pattern well, but
is good for mossy levels.

Yeah, patterns are generally a big no-no for large walls, and if you're making a cave or something out of the first one...
Hell, I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Singularly, they both look good.
Can't speel for hist.

You can use offset in photoshop to check if it tiles, and fix edges that don't tile.. I would reccomend doing that.

Also, did you make those from scratch, or from free online photos?

Packard, your first texture looks pretty good. However, the second one looks pretty bland, and there isn't really enough contrast in it to make it interesting or appealing to the eye. Try adding some more detail to it. If you need more help, heres a link to my texture tutorial: http://radiationhl2.awardspace.com/tc.html

tto is really for embedded shapes textures, actually--but if you size these to 128x128 and make them fit the Infinity CLUTt, they'd be most welcome!
