Aeon: Eternal Lucid Dream question

Aeon: Eternal Lucid Dream.
Two switches.

Spoiler:

In the northwest corner of the large room; west part of the map.
The south switch opens the door for access to the east part of the map.
The north switch lowers (and raises) the shutter of the large window to the north in the big room.

Does this switch do anything other than raise and lower this shutter?

I dint find anything in either Projects, Aeon Commentary or Projects, Marathon: Aeon

It's been a while, but no, I don't believe that switch does anything other than open and close that shutter.

Thanks. I ran around a lot trying to find something.
Just raising and lowering the big window looked like a red herring and I thought there might be a secret somewhere.
I've gotten up to Rise & Fall of ....
So far, I like it. It's fun.
