2 handed alien weapon

Ok I replaced the shotgun with the alien weapon, so it can be 2 handed. However...

I set it to disappear after use, but when I have 2 of them out, when either runs out, the first one is put away, but the second one stays there, and cant be fired, until I change weapons. How do I solve this?

And another question, can a weapon be its own ammo?

why don't you set the alien weapon to be 2 fisted, and then use MML to make the player able to carry 2?

That doesnt work, and is not the answer I am looknig for. Any weapon could do this with the same parameters. I want to know how I can avoid the error.

Set its ammo to alien weapon, if that isn't an option. mml is tha answer
