I know that all you people have been making marathon related fanart in some form or another. Post it up here so everyone else can enjoy it. Please don't steal art from teh intenets or from your friends/enemies, make it youself.

i shal start off with a sketch i made last week, its our favorite marine w/ a soulpatch (dono why), a MADD robot, and a hybrid between a BOB and a Cyborg.

I've got more stuff in my sketchbook. Most of these were made for Marathon: Source.

You see...I'm quite sure that Bungie tried to made pfhor looks scary but it's not possible with the engine's current technology...

Ok well since moppy has posted up bad looking fighters, I did this with my lego (yes, I still play with lego... it fuels my creativity). I had no pieces with red eyes, so thisi s what I've got. I didn't just do this, I did it a few weeks ago.

Making a bionicle/throwbot one would take me a little longer. I'll post it up if I make one.

The pole of the staff was one of those jousting pieces in the knights kingdom. I got it a few years ago though, they've been around for a while.

And the green thing was a torch holder from one of the pirate ship lego sets. I turned it over and it looked like a staff head.

There have been over 1050 lego stories submited to digg since It went online In November 2004, I think legos are synonymous with geek. (and yes, If your reading a board for a small open source first person shooter created 10+ years ago - your a geek.)

*Reminisces about 8 story storage rack overflowing with legos*

more art less talk this was a GD project i had to do in my sketchbook. i decided to do it on a game but i could not do it on a game that has already been made, so i made a fiction game exclusivly for mac and ps3 (i got one reserved :P) called "Arms Race" [i got the name from the first marathon net map i made, its on fireball somewhere...] anyways i got some stuff in there from marathon and abuse the figure in the foreground was my idea of a cross between the marine and a hunter, which is where i came up with the design for the SM marine. all done in ink/copic marker.

i like tybo's work he has got one wicked style!

You all have inspired me [MGrin] . I shall now draw something. *Spends 30 minutes of his life drawing something* Ah There we go.

I'm not the best drawer, especially not with computer graphics (Drawing by hand is so much easier, too bad I don't have a Tablet Pen.)

Well enjoy that. I like How I did the Globe, and its 3D look. Mmm Filters.

PS, I like tybo's clean art style (doesn't look like any erasing) but the pfhor scares me.

very nice, the first thought I had was "we have a young Craig Mullins over here!" when I saw that [MGrin] your style reminds me of him because of the looseness, leaving parts sketchy, etc

you should give it its energy shield! and maybe it's a wee bit too thin, I always thought they were wider.

ive made a couple of digital paints (3 so far) one was the SM trooper i posted up somewhere, the otherone was of a sketch in my sketchbook that i wanted to paint (ill post it up if you want to see it), then there is this one completed in under 2 hours [MGrin] I call it "giant in the ruins". the hulking figure is a design i came up with when i crossed the m1 enforcer with a jugg and gave it legs. on the far left is a dead Bob in a crashed MG-jeep. scatterd throughout are enforcers and a lone trooper.
