Thanks!

I don't know anything about these glands I'm afraid. I did read the Marathon story screens... hastily. Oh, you mean the pony tail thing? (10001.gif.) I don't know why I didn't draw that. Maybe I thought it would be obscured by the head when seen from the front.

By the way, I've added some 'headless' corpses to the PiD image. The temple corridors should be stacked to the roof with corpses of all ages really. It would've been cool to see some dead conquistadors, crusaders and aliens in the temple too. And clowns with balloon animals. Maybe not. Unless the dead god is Pennywise. Then clowns would work. Ok, it's bedtime for me.

Hmm. I should watch Killer Clowns again.

Ok, this might not be real art but I remembered I had these PW sprites lying around since last year and felt the need to show them off.
Made them in MSPaint.

The hardest was the Juggernaught and the Hunters (which I never got happy with).

If your intrested, you can check the (brief) match I used them in here;

Now, I must apologize for this nitpicky comment but... the pose... bothers me. Too... straight up. Too "human".

But maybe Mr Blue Pfhor just wanted to look good in the picture. Great artwork [MUp]

I'm not sure the blur effect and the cutout effect go well together. You could use blur more selectively for better depth cues. It's also difficult to resolve the shape of the foreground building where the Pfhor is standing: some outlines and angles seem to form a distorted perspective. Anyway, the elements feel like parts of the same whole, and you've nicely captured the tone of Marathon Infinity's chapter screens.

Here's a piece which I made a few weeks back. It had some character descriptions and logos on it, but apparently they decided to go without it, hence the blank spaces in the corners and between the characters :/

Here's one artwork I made in Gimp when I first started making digital art. (I can say that I'm much better than I was back then)! I know there's dozens of problems with it, yet I'm done with the picture. Made with a mouse.

Obviously >opinions, but I saw it as the Fighter was bracing (him?)self against the staff. It would explain the angle of his leading leg, kind of gives it a sort of 'Bored Guard' feel to it. We see them only in the waiting and fighting stances in game, but those can't be representative of all the different poses they could take. Generally I like the piece, but I'm a sucker for softer, more abstract stuff.

Oh hey, that's awesome! Do you get any sort of cut of that or was it a flat fee for the piece? Either way I'm sorely tempted to get that, especially at that price.

I've had a tab to that link open in Firefox for weeks now tempting me to buy it. I think I will as soon as I get my next paycheck :P Looks amazing.

I have been using the Brussels metro for a few months with a feeling of déjà vu: bright colors, tiles, and useless geometrical spaces. I could not figure out what it was. But it finally stuck me; it was the Marathon series from Bungie, the FPS video game. Thus, I had to verify if the Brussels metro was matching Lh'owon alleys or the UESC Marathon corridors.
I grouped my Marathon-Brussels match ups there: http://myxomy.deviantart.com/gallery/34201286 and copied a few below:

Disclaimer: (1) Marathon sprites belong to Bungie. (2) This is NOT an invitation to make FPS in public spaces.

Hey guys, don't post around too much lately. I'd love to do some more Marathon and PiD pieces some time soon. Maybe more after this semester is over.

Anyway, did a black and white facial study of the Cyborg.

The first I made to use as wallpaper, the second was for someone on Bnet. I used the same program I used for the KKV-7 model (check the editing forum).
