I plan to do a wiki on Marathon (Trilogy Additional Scenarios, Aleph One) with Wikia in French (Quebec, France, Gulf of Guinea ...).

I wonder if this poses no problem for the English' speaker community.

A draft French forum will come with the possible success of the wiki.

As a fairly primitive way to deter spam, users of the group "Members" cannot post new topics. You should automatically update to "Mjolnir Mark IV Cyborg" after posting once, but it doesn't seem to have worked retroactively, so you'll need to make a post somewhere else. If you need to, you can post some worthless comment in here and be automatically updated.

That's a great feature and all, but do we post-capable members still need to see the notification on top? It seems a little redundant to show that to EVERYBODY.

Speaking of post moderation, how long is it until one becomes able to post freely?
I've seen a few good threads in otherwise locked sub-forums that I'd like to respond in.

While reasonable from an anti-spam perspective, waiting days for your posts to show up can get rather annoying at times.
