Re: Weland 1.4

Hmmm... plugins aren't working in the build you posted under .NET 4. They do work running Weland under mono 2.10.9 (no need to try 3.x?). I tried with the plugins shipped with Weland in their default directory: C:\Users\me\Desktop\weland-1.4\Plugins. I also tried them in C:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming\...

Re: Weland 1.4

Groovy, thanks a bunch :) FYI, It worked with gtk-sharp-2.12.20 and .NET 4.0.x, but not with gtk2-runtime-2.24.10-2012-10-10-ash. I can't be certain that it works without .NET 4.0.x, since apparantly Windows Update saw fit to reinstall the Client Profile variate of it. I did also install the Extende...

Re: Syndicate Status Report

I have. It got me a job and with the money I bought a kick ass computer. Now I can play all the games I have not been able to play before. Been through SC2 and Skyrim. Lately I play Path of Exile. Johannes introduced me to it. I enjoy that game a lot. If you have not tried it, you should! ;-) It is...

Re: Weland 1.4

Seems Weland needs an update to run natively on modern Windows? I can try building it with a newer Mono, but beyond that I don't know how I would fix it. The way I got it working before was: I built it, and it worked :) Eitherway, I suppose that would be more gooder, since it doesn't run on Win7 wi...

Re: Weland 1.4

Sweet! That did it. Well, with mono 2.10.9. When I tried with mono 3.0.20 I was rewarded with this: Capture.PNG ...better than the results I got with .NET, I suppose. Btw, I had also tried running Weland.exe with compatibility for Win98, and WinXPsp3 (I last ran Weland 1.1.2 in XP). I also uninstall...

Re: Who's the Girlfriend in the Durability Narrative?

Hmmm... it's been a long time since I played, but I don't remember anything about a girlfriend. I do remember the knife, and durability and feeling that Durandal was the knife constantly proving the SO's durability by sending him to imminent doom, time and time again.

Re: Weland 1.4

I'm also having trouble getting Weland to function on Win7, 64bit. I've tried 1.1.2, 1.3, and 1.4. When I doubleclick that tauntingly shiny *.exe a windows dialog box pops up saying that Weland has stopped working, and that windows is searching for a solution. Windows has yet to notify me of the res...

"oh, it doesn't hurt anymore. Don't worry about it." "Very good," Marty said with mixed with disbelief and awe that the boy could speak so well. "You've several deep lacerations. Would you explain how you got them?" The doctor stepped several feet away from the table, still expecting an answer to h...

Hrmph . Marty never understood the difficulty people seemed to have remembering his name. He usually assumed it was because of his unremarkable personality, but in this case he couldn't help but feel it was intentional. "Great Scott..." he mumbled, sounding a bit agitated. "Not exactly. Just do it ...

Marty disposed of the last swab needed to remove the blood and puss that had crusted where Harley's ear had been. Suddenly, Gerald shouted "Doc!" Marty followed his gesturing. It took MacLeary a moment to realize the blood soaked flesh was not only in a different position, but had raised a head. Mar...

Yeah, I don't he should be either. I think there's a number of posts in this tread that agree, also. I got impression from your last post that you were communicating with the captive pfhor telepathically (eg. part of the hive mind) is why I ask.

"Is there anything good for tying down this alien?" He paused a second, and then added, "And what was your name again?" "It's Marty, Marty MacLeary." Marty attempted to let phonetics provide some intrigue over his plain appearance with his the best psuedo ancient-Scottish accent he could muster. "....

Hey effigy, couple questions. What kinds of alien weapons are you carrying? Two staves, or a staff and a trooper rifle, or what? They are staves. I started off basing my contributions a bit too close to game play, I guess. The idea was that they were berserkers, and even though I've never seen 2 fi...

Any progress to report on this? ;)

...it was determined that rotating the model wouldn't be important for canonical scenery? Would it be feasible to add rotation of scenery to Weland's functionality anyway (with 3rd party scenarios in mind)?
