Re: WMaiD
We‘ve decided to give the WMaiD homepage another quick update with some screenshots of the new maps we've been working on. http://bighouse.bungie.org/wmaid/screenshots.html Overall progress is very steady atm, so rest assured that an Alpha of the game will be released sometime later this year. Right...

Re: Finally throwing out Halathon
Alright here're the files but they use a special ADPCM codec so they have to be decoded manually to be useful on a PC - you can use the xbadpdec command line tool to do this:

I think people have all been moving to Discord nowadays, it's just more social and convenient to talk over there.

Re: Finally throwing out Halathon
There will be another, more fleshed out demo release for WMaiD at the beginning of next year but the project is obviously not yet nearing completion, even though we're currently aiming for a 2020 release date. I've just decided that completing Halathon is a more feasible short term goal compared to ...

I just wanted to leave a quick note to let people know that I've once again resumed work on the project and am still aiming for a release sometime next year (hopefully).

Re: Marathon 1 Redux
Have you thought about adding Bridges & Balconies to M1R? I think it would be a nice feature to have if used properly and sparingly. Crater Creator made a neat lua script called "Better Bridges" for use with Halathon a while ago which hasn't found much use in other scenarios yet (which...

Re: Let's Make A TC
There're already a bunch of Work-in-Progress scenarios in development around here atm so why not contribute your time and effort to help get one of those finishined instead of starting another name- & plotless scenario with little chance of ever being completed?

Re: WMaiD
Not that I can remember - the source files Blayne sent me did not include any enemy sprites for the Nebulons and I think he sent me everything - I didn`t see any posted in the WmaiD Yahoo group either.

Those red-ish corpses lying around on the floor are what's left of the Nebulons - there are currently no plans for adding live Nebulons to the game tbh.

Re: Is there an Aleph One version of Return to Marathon?
Luckily I still have that Scenario backed up on my MF account: http://www.mediafire.com/folder/8qugy1o ... thon_Stuff
Haven't tested it with the latest AlephOne version but I'm assuming it won't have any major problems.

Re: AlephOne: Pathways Into Darkness
Hey doc, do you mind if I include your icon in the next version of AOPID? I've already got several fixes based on experiences people have had, and other things I noticed, so I'll probably be releasing an update somewhat soon. Also, if anyone has tried this and found any bugs or inconsistencies with...

Re: Mr. Project DX
Anyway, so how's Halathon's development? I don't want to derail this topic so I'll make this short: Basically most of the interior designs are complete - I'm having mostly trouble with getting the outdoor areas to look decent in the Marathon engine - the main problem here is the lack of suitable/ti...

considering the fact that Halo featured mostly huge organic looking outdoor areas I'd say Halathon's defnitely more on he crazy side here. ;D

Re: WMaiD
This a huge step up from what was shown of the older build(s)! I may take some visual cues from the Nebulon set for my own Nebulons. Is there some CLUT trickery going on with the SO's weapons in said set, or can A1 do tinted lighting? Not sure what you`re referring to but these weapon effects are a...

Marathon Infested was a standalone indie game developed on the Dim3 game engine by Alexander Smith. http://www.indiedb.com/members/alexandersmith I don't think he's active on the Pfhorums anymore though, but you can try to PM him here: http://pfhorums.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1310 r...

How big is the extracted scenarios folder on your machine? Is it 250 or rather around 50 MB?General-RADIX wrote:I'm using Windows 7. Might have to try this again if I ever get a chance to use an OS X machine that's not the eMac (it's old and I'unno if it can run the latest A1).

I‘ve converted/patched most of the M1 scenarios from the old fileball archive for use with AlephOne 1.2.1 - some work quite well but sometimes I get this error when loading a custom map file: Bild 2.PNG You can grab the file over here and take a look for yourself: https://cl.ly/0V3A2Z1v1S03 regards ...
