I have been tinkering around with Weland for a while now (running flawlessly on Windows 7, by the way). While I doubt that anything I make will be playable, it does give me an excuse to learn how to use the decidedly very sexy visualmode.lua.

Infinity's story became coherent to me only after I read about the multiple timelines that you shift through.

Marathon 2 is the most 'mainstream' of the trilogy, in that it was the most straight-forward in terms of plot and presentation. Missions were always clear, there was plenty of running and gunning, it lacked the surrealism of Infinity and Durandal's insanity in M1. Durandal was initially my favorite ...

I've had only one crash so far on Vista (v.20.3), and it appeared to be just a routine crash that happens once in a blue moon when trying to gather. This traces back to somewhere around when I was running XPSP2 and A1 v0.18 or so, if I remember correctly.

I have to rescind a bit of what I said earlier. I want to keep my head where it is now: firmly on my shoulders. Today I got to spend a longer amount of times on netplay with these maps, with a hot connection no less. Not only do I now appreciate the focus on a different form of gameplay, the embedde...

Power Drive has an interesting concept, and some real merit I think is worth exploring. There isn't a whole lot to say that hasn't been already. Yes, the maps do suffer visually for their adherence to a certain form of gameplay. Mjollnir 13, for example, often seems flat and dead end-prone. However,...

No, it runs fine. I meant that you made this topic as a result of having to trim all those polygons.
