Ok, so the announcement's true.
However I'm still convinced that they're working on a game that isn't Halo, as well as the next halo title.
Bungie's a big company, they're more than capable of working on more than one game at once. or one series for the past 8 years.

i'm not entirely convinced that they're telling the truth.
what publisher?

also, bungie can work on halo as long as microsoft let them.
which they obviously would.

i know what you mean, if marathon were updated to feel more modern, it would not feel the same game at alll. plus, they'd have to make a rather good story.
Wheras if you changed pids gameplay mechanics, i don't think anyone would mind particularly.

what is it?

and probasbly not since its not their game.

They also showed resi5, viva pinata 2 (with support for MAKING MORE MONEY by selling trading cards and scanning them in with XBL vision camera), and banjo-kazooie (whilst mentioning that the original is coming to xbla)

but look at http://www.bungie.net

!?

bungie are still pretty intimate with them.
there's rumours abound of a new halo.
obviously I'd like them to do something marathon related or something new altogether.
but is it really going to happen

I actually emailed Bungie two days ago about whether or not Pathways into Darkness is freeware or not (legally). I'll let you guys know what they said as I'm sure it would also apply to Minotaur. Providing I get a reply which is unlikely. hopefully "finish your damn project or we're doing it oursel...

I'm not sure what you're talking about anymore.
is this going to be a remake of MPiD with original maps, a remake with changed maps, or a new game loosely based around the original?

uh...
if you go to Xbox.com and view your achievments for marathon
there's 3 more.
one talks about a "total carnage" map pack.
but if you look from your xbox, there's still only the old achievments and nothing new available to download

we need to organise a time to be online, so we can have some decent big games. and team games.
absolutely any time is fine for me. within reason. i'm unemployed and can do almost every day and night at any time.

I did notice the blood... but i hadn't thought about the size of the blue hunters. I still think they're altered to be like cyborgs in some way.. if there were a lot of hunter suits around, why bother using trooper suits? are there any specific times to play that'd be best for people? I can play pretty much any time. feel free to invite me to play if you ever see me online.
bear in mind i live in England.

it would be very nice to organise some games over live for this.
It feels a waste not to use the hopefully reliable online mode.
since nobody plays.
except marathon fans who felt like buying a version of a free game.
are you one of them?

i downloaded the xbox live version of m2 today. One of the models they changed for HD visuals was the hunter. it's very skinny. Very very skinny, completely lost all of its bulkiness. Basically it looks like a pfhor trooper in armor. I began to wonder what's inside the armor. the people who made the...
