Re: Silent's Marathon Vids (Updated 12/6/14) FCAW Fall Class
Fall Classic 2014 (For Carnage Apply Within) An annual gamenight where we play some very strange plugins. Marathon goes from 3:29 until 9:10, and there's sort of some after the credits. There's some potato ball on display, as well as something that may be of particular interest the P'fhorums; Atom'...

Holiday Card
http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e183/Silentone2/HappyHolidays.png Direct link in case that doesn't load right. I think I forgot to post this here last year, but I threw a lot of the Myth and Marathon Solidworks models I made for fun during University into one image and made a card. Visible are th...

Re: Silent's Marathon Vids (Updated 11/28/14)
New Vid: Marathon Phoenix: Final Fight (Total Carnage) I made this to show some friends, who were probably never going to bother getting there, the last fight. More projectiles than you can shake a S'pht at. Odds are I'll have another long video up in a few weeks, as we're doing the Fall Classic ton...

Re: Sharkie Limousines
@Creator You are correct; all the vids were with the FCAW group (some of the Myth videos are actually just me though, as you can't normally have more than one color in Co-Op. If you load the Co-OP maps as single player though, it will randomly assign colors). I'll continue to mess with the title car...

Yeah, it was exactly Tycho X, so I was pretty sure. I think it's a game on Thrud.

Re: Sharkie Limousines
Cool!
And those aren't all from February, it's just that the earliest games in the video are from then. Some of them are as new as Halloween 2014.
Also, I got your message but I can't play at the moment; sorry.

Re: Sharkie Limousines
Are you in Germany, by chance Tycho? I know it's banned there. I hope you can find a way to see it to 'cause you're actually in one of the games! (I listed you in the credits).
And sounds good $lave. I'll just keep posting them here for now since I already have.

Silent's Marathon Vids (Updated 12/6/14) FCAW Fall Classic
In order to keep things organized and avoid spamming the Pfhorums, I'm going to edit this thread whenever I make a new Marathon video (as opposed to posting a new thread each time): Most Recent: Fall Classic 2014 (For Carnage Apply Within) An annual gamenight where we play some very strange plugins....

Re: Durandal '95 "What About Bob" help
I remember that I didn't have a good save the first time this happened to me, so I downloaded a cheat plugin, went invulnerable, and killed everything under the lava.

Re: SHINGEKI NO MARATHON (MP Vid)
That is a very interesting question, and after a bit of research it appears the answer is the Lost Network Packets , an official Bungie addendum due to issues raised in discussion at the Marathon Story Page's Dates and Bungie's New Timeline pages. There we go! It looks like whoever edited p'fhorped...

Re: SHINGEKI NO MARATHON (MP Vid)
Yeah, that intro was probably more entertaining to the group than it was to others... I actually kind of like the first person cam during deaths. 99% of shooters made in 2000+ have the third person cams, so it actually feels unique (plus I just like it better). These were film replays (as you probab...

Re: SHINGEKI NO MARATHON (MP Vid)
The Attack on the Marathon anniversary is July 25th, not July 3rd. (I should know 'cause it's also my birthday). Okay so funny thing, I went and checked, and we did play on 25th (which I originally got from the timeline), but I got the July 3rd from checking the wiki. I went and checked the termina...

SHINGEKI NO MARATHON (MP Vid)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zk8EyNiGegs The idea for this started back when we had a Marathon night on July 25th, 2014; the 780th pre-anniversary of the "Attack on" the Marathon (yes I know the name doesn't really mean that). That said, most of the footage is from October 17, 2014 (th...

Re: Misconceptions
I played the majority of the Marathon series for the first time as an adult, so I don't have many fun childhood misconceptions. That said, I did play M2 on XBLA as a teenager, and I played the horde mode before the campaign. Since the S'pht kr are always aggressive in that mode, I never thought not ...

Re: Question about Keypoint and Origin in Shapefusion
Here's my first "full" sequence. What do you guys think? I think it might be a little bright (that could be because I had to make it bright to counteract a transparency issue that kept coming up, though I might be able to get around that a different way now). My main goal was to animate i...

Re: Question about Keypoint and Origin in Shapefusion
Is there a file-size/pizel-size limit I should be aware of as I make these images? For the moment, I'm editing them directly into the Shapes file.

Re: Question about Keypoint and Origin in Shapefusion
Cool, that's consistent with what happened with mine. I'd guess it grew so large that either the system decided not to render it, or transparency was the only thing on-screen.

Re: Question about Keypoint and Origin in Shapefusion
After playing around with it some more, as best as I can tell, the "scale factor" doesn't work on anything except the standard images. Everything else I put in becomes invisible when I mess with it, and in a way that I can't fix by changing it back. It does work with the standard images th...

Re: Question about Keypoint and Origin in Shapefusion
Thanks for the info! One other ShapeFusion question, just to see if anyone's run into it before: I've added in a few bitmaps now, and they've worked fine. However, as soon as I changed the scale from whatever it was when I first copied them in, they disappeared in-game. When I changed it back to wha...

Re: Question about Keypoint and Origin in Shapefusion
Otherwise, my suggestion is: Modify the shapes as needed, change their on-screen location using physics. You mean with height and idle? And one additional question; while I assume that altering certain sections of the physics file (such as running or actual weapon performance) may cause OOS in netg...

Re: Question about Keypoint and Origin in Shapefusion
I have had no trouble when editing Keypoints for 8-bit sequences in ShapesFusion. I can imagine this may have something to do with using True Color Shapes. I think you're probably right, that sounds really familiar to the issue 2000 ran into. Would you be willing to show a snapshot of how you have ...

Question about Keypoint and Origin in Shapefusion
Hello again. So I'm considering doing some more shapes work when I have time this term(+ finishing 2000's project if he's still interested), and I've been playing around with shapefusion for a bit. I'm curious about the Keypoint and Origin marks in the frames section, as no matter how much I change ...

Re: HD Player Models (I think this will end up belonging her
If you can e-mail me some uncompressed images, I can make new ones in a day or two. I still have all my SMG images saved in the size and angle used in the sprites, so it wouldn't be that complicated. Also, I'm done with school for about a month now, so if we want to do something more in-depth I'm av...

Re: HD Player Models (I think this will end up belonging her
I checked 6/4/199, and it looks the same as the others in Aorta. I've confirmed the error is in all of them; it's just less noticeable on some maps (or it might not show up if you're far away). Anyways, here's those pics for Simplici7y I said I'd take: http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e183/Silenton...
