I think my HDD is failing, which would make sense why the application won't launch very well. I scanned its SMART status, and it said it had 13 bad sectors. Uh-oh. I don't have any other games or apps like Aleph One on my system. I am running absolutely great on Windows 7, so If I just can't run it on my Mac because of harddrive, I'll just use Windows 7.

The work just great - the same as always. No waits on them or anything. They are always responsive, it seems.

I have wiped it about twice. I have tried verifying and repairing permissions. I've tried about everything, and nothing helps. It is not my main machine, but I wanted to use it for Aleph One. I have tried Leopard and Tiger as main OS, and it does the same thing on both of them.

I think it's about time I just realize that Aleph One won't run on my mac anymore. I'll just use it on another machine. Oh well.

Also, I got Tempus Irae to launch, but when I try to play a game, it says, "A system error occurred while attempting to read from your map or saved game file. (error 2)

Just installed Leopard, and Aleph One worked for about the first 5 seconds, then it started screwing out again. I have no plugins installed. It opened fine, and then I plugged in a mouse and it stopped working fine. What in the world is going on?

Mac OS X v. 10.5 Leopard: a.) When I downloaded 1 and 2 it said they were not supported on my platform.

I'm hopefully going to upgrade to Leopard soon hopefully. Maybe that'll fix it. So does anyone know where to get older Marathon 1 and 2 that still support PPC? Only Aleph one and Infinity still do, and I want to play 1 and 2 as well.

OK, I'll start from scratch again. I have the all in one pack marathon infinity, and it has the same error. Can you link me to older Marathon 1 and 2? They aren't supported for PPC anymore. I never got a CrashReporter log, but I'll download the latest version of aleph one.

Once it came up with a message that "shapes, sounds, and maps" were not correctly installed, when in fact they were. What other plug-ins could be causing this issue? Is it software conflicts with other apps I have installed?
