This sort of pissed me off. I'm not going to lie. There are somethings he points out that I can agree with. But I think he gave the game a very harsh and unfair review.
What are your thoughts?

Re: Can't Get Phoenix Working
Before you mess around any further, will you post a screenshot of your Preferences -> Environment screen? The engine has read some crazy magic/version number off the map file. Are you sure you've selected the correct file as the map? Looking at the most recent Phoenix release's files, I see that Sc...

Re: The start of an unnamed campagin
Thanks. I scrapped the third mapped because it wasn't working, and then I started on a new third map. The new one turned out to be a lot of fun in some unexpected ways. I don't have a lot of time lately, and when I do I keep having a "writer's block" keeping me from finishing it. Still, I think I m...

Can't Get Phoenix Working
Hey there, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this. I've had this problem for over a year now at least. Every time I boot up Phoenix the title screen starts up and then it crashes and I get the following message. "What is version -4165?" and then some stuff about how "the application h...

Re: The start of an unnamed campagin
I just played this the other night. I had a lot of fun with it. It was fun coming across the BOB corpses and the hand gun with just the few grenades was a cool touch. It really made me feel like a regular security guard/human. Not like the super soldier that you normally play as. I liked the level d...

Re: Marathon Podcast?
Heh, yeah, true sort of. But, there could be a load of stuff to talk about. It just doesn't have to be about what's recent. Could have topics such as how people first came into contact with the games. Comparing Marathon to other FPS games of the time. Talk trash about newer games *cough* Fallout is ...

Marathon Podcast?
Has anyone ever considered doing a Marathon podcast? Just discussing the games, story and etc. It would be something interesting to listen too or to be apart of.

Hello There!
Hey,
I've had an account in the long distant past. Been a Marathon fan since as long as I can remember. Just figured I'd get into touch with the community again, and see what's going on.
