Re: The weirdest thing ever...
@crazyboy: I saw that and how you think my voice is annoying... -.- I went looking through old threads on the Pfhorums. All I found was that someone was working on a psp version and a DS version. I don't know if there was ever a completed version for DS. If anyone does happen to find one, let me kn...

Re: What We Want For the Next Version of Aleph One
Those are some interesting ideas. Here are some other things I think would really help improve the engine. -libjingle integration for NAT traversal -JavaScript bindings for scripting with V8 engine -Framerate Uncapped, 60 FPS high speed deathmatch mode for PRO players, 15 FPS half speed mode for pl...

Re: Marathon : Phoenix Walkthrough
Where can I find the link to download the walkthrough I cant find my way out of level 17. I'm sure its simple but I cannot find where the uplink chip goes too... Phoenix Walkthrough Download (out of date) Not sure if this will be any help with the latest version of Phoenix, but I uploaded it anyway...

Re: Need Help Expanding Stuffit File (.sit)
Thanks. Took longer to write my original post than to install and use unar. On a related note, anyone else notice how useless Google Search is becoming? The entire first page of results for "linux stuffit" is just old forum posts about how it isn't possible.

(Solved) Need Help Expanding Stuffit File
I've got an old stuffit file that I'd like to access but my Mac isn't working. If anyone has a machine running classic or a Sheepshaver installation and a few minutes of time I'd appreciate it if you could convert this into a zip or anything else I can read with Windows or Linux. File is ~1MB. https...

Re: Claustrophilia (collaborative mapmaking project)
I'm so lazy... ._. I still haven't finished my entry; however, I have finished Mega Man X and have moved onto X2. How is everyone else doing on their entries? I haven't seen anything new happen for quite a while. I wonder how long it will take before I finally finish mine... I've started over twice...

Is the script actually merged into the example map? Because nothing appears to be happening.

Re: Claustrophilia (collaborative mapmaking project)
I'm only about a third of the way through drawing my map but before I go any further I'd appreciate any feedback people have. I'm mostly worried about the size of the layout. I've screwed myself in the past by making rooms and hallways too small or too large and only finding out after I've spent hou...

Re: Pfhorums 7 year, 7 month, 7 day anniversary!
Going to miss the old white background look, but if new players can now register then I guess it's worth the loss. I feel a little stupid asking this, but did the old forums have a separate user name and login? I was looking through the member list and there were a few names I didn't recognize but I...

Due to Mega Man X, the netpack should be done in January now. I'm sorry, but is no one else going to call this out? A five hour game pushed your schedule back an entire week? [attachment=5846:megaman.jpg] On a related note, I've been working on my own 7poly single player map collection since the Su...
Has anyone tried Windows 8? What do you think of it? I was really looking forward to it because everyone in the MSM was comparing it Vista, but instead of a return to form it seems like they took the worst interface changes from Windows 7 and iterated them into something even more cluttered. Thankf...

I definitely like that you guys have managed to make version 1.0 awesome, and that you fixed M1A1 to be closer to the original, but one thing that kinda bothers me is that the HD stuff is included in the packages. While the HD stuff is very awesome, this was not part of the original games, and is v...

While you're at it, put a stupid oxygen recharger somewhere. If nothing else, it's a courtesy to people that can't read so quickly, because this level has many terminals on it. Me, I just skipped through most of them. What's the point of a vacuum level if you're just going to throw oxygen recharger...

Has anyone bothered to collect and archive all of these grand project announcements? Because that could itself be a pretty neat project. Maybe do some follow up research to determine exactly how many months it took them to give up, or figure out what percentage hit specific milestones such as a tit...

I needed to learn about the map format for a project I'm working on, and a couple of questions came up that I hope someone can help me with. The way Weland reads the map DirectoryEntries depends on the value of the application_specific_directory_data_size in the header. What specifically does this r...
