There must be something in another thread, but I'm too lazy to search for it.
How humerous [MSmile] . Please forgive my ignorance, but I'm not all too familiar with the contents of the Pfhorums and this episode certainly predates my activity in the community. However, next time I will look harder.

As far as I know, Simon first ceased the work on Sigma, then passed on his pistol to Ryoko. I don't know Drictelt, it looks to me as if Simon bailed after getting an earful from Ryoko. Not that I'm saying it was anyone's fault other then Simon's, He should have gotten permission to use those shapes...

While digging around on fileball the other day I downloaded Portal of Sigma. I played it for a little while and needless to say it's not a bad scenario at all. Some of the level design is really neat and the architecture is up there with tempus irae in my book. The combat's kind of stale but that co...

What's sad is that you pointed this out. What's even more sad is that this has never been pointed out before.

Mechs are the most retarded device in all science fiction and they bug me every time I see them.

Wow I really have not been paying attention lately.

Oh, something about Pheonix? uh, sphtstorm is probably one of the coolest levels I've ever seen and this scenario is probably the best I've ever played, right up there with Evil. Take that as a compliment.

On the levels Sphtstorm and exercise in Excess, whenever I try to save the game quits out and fails to save my data. Does this have something to do with Pheonix or with Aleph One in general?

I like the bobs in the green but for reason the ones in red look like shit, it might just be me though. Is that the MA-75 from M1?

Is there an Aleph One version of Return to Marathon? I've been wanting to check that out.

Apotheosis was pretty damn cool, you should check it out. I also thought the first (and only) chapter of Portal of Sigma was cool too.

I hate/love how they just drop in from really high ledges and start raising hell. And yes it's true, the red defenders do force you to re-evaluate your strategy. hell, even the green defenders force you change up your game, those things are almost as powerful as the red defenders!

They are a fresh challenge. They're difficult but not unfair (you can still dodge the blasts unlike the ones in TGI). But, my god they've ripped me a new one so many times.

I noticed something when I re-downloaded the demo. Instead of the minor defenders firing two shots and the major ones firing five, the minor ones fire six shots and the majors fire six scatter shots that are really hard to dodge. These shots do an S-ton of damage. Is this something you added recently?

Check if you have any strange letters in the search path to your alephone application. Sometimes, that is the problem. Huh? Strange letters? Sorry, I'm not that computer savvy. When I download from the new fileball, it acts like it cant find a download source. And I still cant decompress the V2 file.

Where can I find the latest version of Marathon Squadron? The link on the revised fileball doesn't work and of course the original fileball doesn't work. Is it on the pfhorums somewhere?

I got an email reply from Blayne, and apparently, he's coming back from Korea and will continue with earnest on the WMaiD project this November. And, if WMaiD did die, he said he would release the scraps, fully collated. This is good news! [MGrin] Now, back to my secondary question, does anyone hav...

I have a problem with "Fury". I killed everything, hit all the switches, explored he whole level, put in the 3 uplink chips etc., yet I go to the areas that look and sound like teleporters (the location near where you start the level and the area under it where the hordes of purple fighter...

Champagne Bath is certainly not my best map but it was intended to be an easier map because mine tend to be really difficult. I was also trying to break out of my usual formula of maps (see maps like The Mindkiller and Fury). Didn't work out too well, but alas. My problem is not that it was too eas...

Sounds perfect, pretty much all I do on Marathon nowadays in listen to Carbon Leaf, and blast the crap outta monsters on TC. I'll probably download it for some cool kill times. "When all of your tears dry, let your troubles roll by", BLAM! "Arg!" sounds awesome to me My 2 cents?...
