Unable to save a level in Forge

I seem to be unable to save a level in Forge. I've made a basic polygon with a player.
Image Is there something I need to do first?

Forge in Sheepshaver/Basilisk II?

Has anyone ever gotten Forge to work in SheepShaver/Basilisk II?

I can get Forge to start up in both programs but every time I try to load visual mode it crashes and complains about shapes.c

Re: Playing maps created for M1?

To play a 3rd party M1 scenario, first download the files for your platform above. Next, if you are on running A1 on Windows or Linux, you need to encode your scenario files with MacBinary. I don't know whether you need to do this on OS X or not. Then, place your encoded scenario files wherever you...

Sure but the version there is M1A1 isn't it? Wouldn't there be compatibility problems?

Mapping for Marathon 1?

I noticed on the bungie archives there's a bunch of levels for Marathon 1. Were they created using Forge or some third party editor?

Re: 360 controller support

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a feature of SDL2? Is this a separate build? I can only locate the internal joystick function. But it requires mapping the axis's individually and it never seems to work quite as well as I'd like. I've been more and more interested in replaying the entire tri...

Re: A fourth Marathon??

To be honest I'm not holding my breath. I've been burned before when devs have promised "we'll revisit XXX franchise once our next game sells XXX copies. Promise".

Additionally a lot of the time when a company returns to a franchise 20 years later it tends not to turn out well

360 controller support

I've been more and more interested in replaying the entire trilogy with a 360 controller. After playing Marathon 2's port on the 360 I really miss having things like rumble when the player fires his assault rifle and so forth. I'm wondering if anyone has managed to get the 360 pad working with Aleph...

Well I just became new to the whole "Marathon Craze". Never knew it existed a few months ago. Very fun stuff so far, intellectual complicated story lines and the like. I still don't fully understand Marathon 1 2 and 3's plotline to this day and I doubt I will for a while. Decided to join the forum a...

New person, to both this forum and Marathon as a whole.

Honestly I was a big Doom fan back in the day. Never knew Marathon existed before.
