All right then I think its time to replay Durandal. Thanks for the help.

You mean a level that teleports to various other levels (I have never played hexen)? You could do that with Marathon 2. Its been awhile since I played Marathon 2, but I think what was done in hexen was a bit different that what was done in Marathon 2. Say you start in map 1 with a large room with 4...

I don't know if I should be looking at scripting or the actual game engine or if it is even possible for Aleph One but I am just going to throw this out here. Would it be possible to do a level hub system similar to what was done in HeXen? I know there would just about no reason to use it in netplay...

First of I would like to apologize for the early topic. I should have been more clear on that. The last time I generally talked about these style of games was back when 2.5D was a good term to describe them, but as you can see I have not kept up with the times. So having that said I would like to at...

While I admit that searching the Pfhorums for "2.5D" brings up a wealth of legendary threads, if you somehow think that putting that flamebait term in your topic is going to guarantee this thread legendary status, you are sorely mistaken. I have no intention of trying to create a legendary topic. I...

Projectiles? Vehicles? Who knows? ?this method is obviously far from perfect. I think I recently came up with something better, but I can't remember what it was. Oh wait, it was Joust, but that's another story. Looks like it would take some time to come up with something that would look more realis...

Vehicles of some sort, and yea light boxes would be awesome, count me in on that. Have vehicles been implemented in an engine like marathons before? I think I remember using one in Napalm but its been a long time ago. Sweet, send me the patch when you're done adding it if it's that easy for you. I ...

Talk about standards of logic!
Your right. For some reason that just flew right past me.

Revision 2

-1 vote for light boxes.
-1 vote for Bridges and Balconies.
-1 vote for me being wrong.

Revised list.

-The community wants lightboxes and true 3D with Bridges and Balconies.
-The community has decided that Irons picture does not meet the standards of logic.
-I am wrong.

Does that sum things up?

Nicely done. So what I have established here is that the community wants lightboxes and true 3D with Bridges and Balconies. The community has also decided that Irons picture does not meet the standards of logic. Correct me if I am wrong.

This question is for the whole Marathon Community. What feature would you like to see be implemented in a Marathon Scenario. It can range from storyline ideas, weapons, enemies, lua programing, etc.

Are you trying to dl for Mac or PC? I was downloading it onto a PC and transferring it to my Mac. I recently had trouble installing it for PC, but a boardmember generously assisted me until we got it working w/ A1. You probably need to find an older version of Stuffit (like c. 5.0). Stuffit X and its other buddies can't handle some old .sit files. I think I'm using version 7, but i'm not sure at the moment. I know its one of the older versions and its worked for almost every thing else I have downloaded (The ...

Man you are good at this, these landscapes are excellent.

The cloud landscape would look good if you were on a ship travelling in earth's inner atmosphere.
