Re: And yet no one knows

Is your question on how to assemble all the scenario files in a folder to make it work, or is it how to correctly merge terminal text files with Atque, or...? I can't figure out what you're asking.

Re: And yet no one knows

All you need to know for now is how to use GIMP or something similar to produce a title screen for Marathon Green. After that, everything else will fall into place.
Spoiler:
At least, it did with Yuge.

Re: Mararthon: Yuge / YugePax

'sup doogs. W'rk just uploaded a new batch of 2304 Yuge Bigly Bonus Maps over at Simplici7y. Among several improvements are the inclusion of full community quotes from Mararthon: Yuge in the terminals, as well as a small effort from me: Yuge Bigly 2: Electric Doogaloo. At the time of this post, you ...

Re: Mararthon: Yuge / YugePax

I thought I’d share with everyone here that I recently finished uploading all parts of a recorded playthrough I did of Yuge’s campaign levels. Here is Part 1. There are 4 parts in all spanning about 6 hours. My favorite part of this is your reading of the dubblbubbl terminal: https://youtu.be/PwpSB...

That looks pretty good, but you got rid of the area around the circle and made it transparent, which really does not fit my art style. It's a good unofficial version though. I don't know, this icon looks pretty sweet on my desktop next to all the others: http://i.imgur.com/MmWfIiY.png Either way, I...

Re: Mararthon: Yuge / YugePax

You guys don't even have the most up-to-date Alpha 1 2.0.0 icon, used in the title screen of Yuge itself: Official.png How do I get the Colo(u)rs textures? I tried unmerging colourspeuck.scea with Atque, but I don't see any shapes files in there. Same with unmerging Yuge.scea. I feel like I'm overlo...

Re: Mararthon: Yuge / YugePax

the time of yuge draws nigh. Wrk and I are making good progress on the shapes, physics, lua, liquids, etc that you'll see in Yuge, and the story should be mostly finished up, as well. I'm really surprised by the sheer quantity and quality of yugeparts that a surprising number of people have contribu...

Re: Favorite piece of architecture in the Marathon Trilogy?

I always liked the lava chambers in Six Thousand Feet Under from M2. The narrow ledges flanking the lava pools make for some fun vertical combat. I remember the upper passages on A Converted Church in Venice, Italy being impressive when I first saw them -- how you first encounter them outside in the...

MARARTHON: YUGE IS CANON IN THE MARARTHON STORY.

In the spirit of certain timeless discussions around here, I figured everyone ought to know that Mararthon: Yuge will be 100% canon in the Mararthon universe, unlike Eternal and all that. It's going to be unbelievable, folks.

Mods, please sticky this post for future reference in 2027, kthx.

Here's 18 yugeparts I put together over the past couple evenings. These things literally take minutes to make since there's no texturing involved.
