Because of Mariusnet being a not-very-good server. Don't worry ? you'll get used to the lag.

There was no level by that name. Sounds like you may be referring to the level "Beware of Low-Flying Nightmares."

Also, what is RtM? Real time Marathon? It's another fan-made scenario titled "Return to Marathon," in which you must go back aboard the Marathon as reconnaissance, to investigate rumored activity still aboard it. The scenario itself is unfinished, but I thought it was very well done; it has an unea...

O__o A while ago, I was using a third-party Marathon 1 shapes editor to go through the various bitmaps in the game, and I believe that ship outside the window was called a "Slave Transport" in the bit...

I remember playing through this short scenario a while back. I agree; it was great. The eery quietness and "dead" feel of the ship gave a very claustrophobic and scary atmosphere. To answer your question ? no, it won't be finished. It's another unfinished scenario that had great potential. I remembe...

Fish, perhaps the reason this scenario and its topic aren't shaping up as well as you and other people would want it to is due to you supposedly having little to no experience in making and presenting Aleph-one maps and designs; part of the reason that about 80% of all Marathon scenarios crash and b...

Well, many of the areas aboard the Marathon could have very well been structures built outside of Deimos' surface instead of being installed inside it. And I believe that the G-4 Sunbathing landing station was not a part of the Marathon. Keep in mind the way Leela described her plan: There has been ...

No, it is not possible. A1 can only allow you to hold one combination of dual-wielding weapons for each weapon slot. I.E. The pistols and shotguns. However, you could perhaps change the physics for the weapon in one of the player's hands. But since you're likely thinking of multiple combinations of ...

I used to hope that Bungie would revisit Marathon, but now I think that they shouldn't bother disappointing us more; a remake of Marathon -or a sequel, for that matter- would just be like your typical, no-brainer modern FPS. The terminals would likely be replaced with cut-scenes; the philosophical p...
