I'm glad to see that the EFM thread has been revived. Once I get back home today, I'll be sure to make another post for my character. /* Semi-OOC: Requesting confirmation on the current state of affairs of the main party: Gerald and Simon have recently met and fought a minor Compiler, then headed of...

Yes, I guess he is. One of us will most likely have to take control of Gerald eventually.

Harley continued to approach the man around the corner. "H-hey, don't worry, I won't shoot." He walked around the corner and saw in front of him was a tall, bulky man; he looked like the kind of man you normally wouldn't get in the way of, but right now he just looked concerned. "I need some help ov...

"Gerald! Sid! Get over here!" Harley heard one of the voices shout. I could hear that... Hesitantly, Harley lowered the barrel of his weapon away from his head and out in front of him. Cautiously he stood up and saw that someone was waving their jacket at him from around the corner. Keeping his rema...

*Post* There are a few rules I'd like to lay down, though. [...]Second, no "god-moding." You can't describe what happens to other peoples' characters, only what your character is doing. So as you probably see, your post used god-moding?controlling the other characters instead of making one of your ...

Harley Daniels was always a courageous man; always looked upon by his peers as the man who takes the role of being calm and controlled, always finding the best solution to any problem; always looking out for others in the worst of situations. Sure, he was short, stocky, and unfit, but his weaknesses...

Don't worry about it, but would what be appropriate? The shortened version of my Escape From Marathon post I had made, revised so it doesn't include the parts where I "godmoded" your character. I was asking if it was more appropriate for a forums role-playing game rather than the first one I posted.

I don't think you realized this, so it's OK, but what you should do is write whatever your character(s) want to do and wait for the rest to react. I'd appreciate it if you changed your post to reflect these ideas. This is my first time partaking in a forums role-playing game, so pardon me if I do s...

Then I'd say its where ever you want it to be, its still a floating plot device. Crash it into the antagonists' important plot device.

The only discontinuity I see (leaving out the first half of "Rage") is that on "Confound Delivery" Thoth is activated and the S'phr'Kr arrive, which evidently has not happened yet as of "Naw Man He's Close" etc, nor "By Committee" etc. This happened on Confound Delivery, you say? The terminal messa...

Bungie was originally working on a proper Marathon 3 before they decided to do Myth instead, and so a part of me still doesn't buy Infinity as the third Marathon game, but more of a (very awesome) Marathon 2 expansion pack. Damn would I like to know what that Marathon 3 was going to be... They were...

I'm considering doom3, it looks like a fun game. I'm very surprised its heavily story driven, with puzzles to0 solve, and objectives to clear (sounds like an older FPS game that came in 10 year before?) Reading about the game, and watching a few lets plays, it looks like the perfect candidate for a...
