I started playing the first MOO several months ago, and it's actually become one of my favorite games now. I prefer playing with Psilons. I've also played the second, but it for some reason has the tendency to crash within the first ten minutes of gameplay.

Maybe it would work out better to separate the factions based on their race instead of their allegiance in the games, as Master of Orion is more about development and technology-management rather than troop-to-troop combat.

Just go to source.bungie.org/get, download the A1 that corresponds with your operating system, and replace your old A1 files with it. The one you download from there is _always_ the latest version.

With the original Marathon 1, the game would pause whenever you log onto a terminal. I always preferred the M2 and beyond method of having to clear out a room before being able to read the terminal within it.

Yes, Marathon.org breathed its last breath quite some time ago. Its demise was likely due to the love for it degenerating, as it hadn't had any updates for years. However, at least there's, of course, still marathon.bungie.org.

I use the default control set-up, despite how clunky people find it to be.

I think I may have to agree with gmanyo on Evil. I mean, the devlins did startle me at first, but I quickly became quite used to them. I stopped playing on the level "All Dressed Up And No Place To Go." But I suppose I should try and get back into the game at some point.
