I was reading this and saw something like why can't I jump lol and I thought, why not write a script for it if jumping is in the cheats? I don't know lua, but I think if you go [ ]key command AND touching ground = the jump action from the cheats[/
] and also [
]key command = substitute 0.4...

Change their extension to .sceA in Finder, then merge them with Atque :) There's really not much difference. EDIT: Or just use Resourcerer. That was so face burningly obvious I'm actually ashamed to post now. Thanks anyways. Do you know what extension I'll need for the text files? No point merging ...

Could someone please do me a massive favor? You see, these maps are all formatted for classic, and I can't use res edit on my intel macbook. So could someone please res edit them to work with A1, and merge them into a map? THANK YOU, YOU ARE AWESOME! (There aren't any terminal picts yet, I just need...

I know things have been calming down recently, but all the hype has so far served no useful purpose. Marathon is still going along, showing no indication of dying at all. Sure the Clique is shot to bits, but they were like five people, so that's made little difference. So is it dying? Are the Pfhoru...

I'm not saying go full force for the scary factor (I.e, Doom 3.), but it's a thought. You remember how you first meet the Imps, and they climb on the wall like spiders? It would be awesome if the Pfhor did that. Also, seeing as the Pfhorums are going down the plughole, are you (not sure of plural) ...

Haha, don't worry, I wasn't planning to exclude the drum-steadying-barrel-supporting mechanism. It's only absent on the model for now because it's easier to make a clean mesh if you model the parts separately and attach them afterward. Since the big hulking thing takes the place of it, I figured I ...

I've actually made an FPS in blender, just to see if it is possible. It worked okay, but I have no idea how you're going to program the enemy AI. It would be very difficult using the logic brick system. Also, although I'm a bit busy now, I'm quite experienced with blender, and I wouldn't mind helpin...

Very nice! I actually use blender to make sprites for my scenario, Marathon: Fusion. The rendered scene in your second post looks awesome. Also, you may be able to use MarathUp to get map files into sketchup, and export as a .3ds. You might have to tinker with MarathUp a little (I think MarathUp onl...

Four Reasons why not: PSP's don't have mice, which means analog sticks, which means confusion and thumb arthritis, which both mean early death. PSP's don't have 23" displays. Computers do. PSP's don't run nearly as fast, or have nearly as much memory, which means decreased performance. Also, have yo...

Yes, but in your previous posts you were implying that the Bobs were given the implants before Marathon 1. They would have been, had bungie had the idea of implants before M1 was released. Implants aren't mentioned in the story anyway, excepting one terminal, which is in an alien language, and is t...

As I thought. In Marathon 1? Well the entire ship was in chaos, almost every single human aboard had lost contact with the 3 A.I.'s, and a lot machines were most likely malfunctioning. So I assume that they didn't even have time to consider starting an operation giving every single crew member an e...

Played PiD when I was younger (6-7)... Next door Neighbor had the games of fame CD's, with all the favorites we love and know! (A-10 Attack, Warcraft 1, Marathon.) I got that disk a few years back... I've never actually hit another aircraft in A-10 yet, and I'll never regain those precious hours of...

Is there a program that imports images into the sprite file? You can use ShapeFusion to open the Shapes file, and export the sprites as BMPs.
http://shapefusion.sourceforge.net/
There is a Windows binary.
