Re: A fourth Marathon??
I've never played the pc version of Halo, but my issues with gameplay were mostly those of preference. I just don't like the slow movement and weak weapons. Same with the audio and visual design, not my cup of tea. Really Destiny was the first modern Bungie game that played near how I liked (being a...

Re: A fourth Marathon??
Another gameplay difference of note: of the games you listed, marathon is the only one with weapon reloading and non "medkit" based health. Those features didn't become a thing in other shooters until long after quake. Not quite, build engine games have been doing this since 1995. Not rea...

Re: A fourth Marathon??
-destiny- If you would actually do some research instead riding the "everything new sucks" bandwagon, you would know that most everything you just said there was very inaccurate: The original story was abandoned because the creative director (Jason Jones) and other leadership thought it w...

Re: A fourth Marathon??
Am I the only one who liked destiny a heck of a lot more than halo? It did have a massive story told in text format outside the game, and aforementioned story wasn't a shoddy marathon knockoff. although it wasn't great on launch, the progression problems were fixed in taken king. They merged the tow...

Re: Using custom Shapes with Forge
I have been having a similar issue with my mapping project. In my case it is less consistent, and appears to be affected by the map as well. I think the error code is the same, though.
I would be interested in some insight here as well.

Sounds very straightforward to me, you can't get back to doing something if you never started it. What I don't get is why you bother bumping this thread.

That is a serious allegation, and you should be less careless with what you spew.
Could somebody provide a working link to the code of conduct page? the FAQ thread one doesn't work.

You mean the place extremely ill-suited for hosting project threads? Yes.
I'm pretty sure this forum already has a place for pointless discussion, people just don't use it. (and the admins don't enforce it)

Re: Blastfrog's shitty suggestions thread
Thank you guys for being patient with us. Unfortunately the MSF's format precludes things like project development threads. It makes multiple concurrent discussions difficult to browse, and past threads are organized in a way that makes archive browsing sub-optimal. Aside from that, there are no oth...
