They are replacing the 17" iMacs with these brand new 20" iMacs, with much better specifications, for the same price as the old one (1199USD) :)

Even though I'm not sure about the new design. Those keyboards look nice though.

Got to love Apple.

I have to say this...

Oh dear, they're absolutely hideous! And we still need a 17 inch iMac, the 20 inch is too big!

You're kidding...? I think they look fine, and who uses a tiny 17" display any more?

Screw those new iMacs. I really disagree that apple decided to switch to intel so soon. They should have just waited for motorola to develop a chip for them!

Seriously, who wants a chip that is immensely faster, and uses less power? Not me!

I think the actual IMacs look lovely. Saw them in person today. However the keyboard...it is so tiny. It is so thin, and kind of short. Though it does come with 2 USB plugs on it. But then again, it has to beam the USB signals to the computer wirelessly, soooo.

Lastly, I wish it was easier to change more than Simple the RAM. Such as the Video Card or Hard Drive. (But I guess there is always Externals, and fast ones, with the Firwire 800.

I don't know much about graphics cards. With the graphics card that comes with it (it's the same for all of them isn't it) what sort of games would you be able and not able to play.

You would be limited to games that are 2 years old or older, or so, with the graphics cards in the new imac. The HD 2400 is really low end, and HD 2600 is sort of low end.

So what about Half Life 2 and Doom 3. I probably won't get anything with better graphics than that.

Those are both pretty old, they'll run fine.
