There is an ongoing Kickstarter to remaster the old Mac classic Escape Velocity: Override under the name Cosmic Frontier: Override. It is run by two people, a long time fan, and the lead designer of EV: Override itself!
There is roughly one week left and still a little way to go on the Kickstarter, so if anyone here played it back in the day (or still play it on occasion), please do give it a look here:

For those unfamiliar with the game, it is a top-down space action and trading game heavily inspired by Elite, and which also went and inspired games such as NAEV and Endless Sky.
