As one of the commentators through the link mentioned, I usually have my orders toasted, and so have never noticed this cheese procedure. On that front, Cheese layout technology is being so advanced. I can't wait until subway releases their multidimensional cheese system.

My local Subway has not yet received this memo, it seems.

Do you mean you asked them and they said they haven't heard anything about tessellating cheese, or have they just not yet started tessellating the cheese? The article says they will start tessellating the cheese on July 1st.

I have reached new levels of sorrow, pity, and disdain for the human race, when a method of laying cheese on sandwiches has a scheduled national implementation date. Honestly, I hadn't read the article and just presumed... issue memo, start tessellating cheese. What, do they need to have a support infrastructure in place before they implement this radical new technology?

July 1st is the compliance date, but the memo says stores may begin implementing the change immediately. I've never worked at Subway, but from the kind of service I get there I assume any delay is a matter of training or comprehension of the English language memo rather than infrastructure.

When you take a bite of your sandwich, you will get a more consistent cheese experience.

I'm embarrassed to say I've never noticed any variation but that may have something to do with the grilling & amount of bacon I have piled in mine [MSmile]

Perhaps I could use this as an excuse for "before" and "after" samples...

I've noticed local subway employees forgetting to tessellate mine and other peoples' cheese. What should I do?

Subway blows. All their sandwiches taste like cardboard and no amount of tiling "triangular half moons of cheese" more efficiently will make their products any more tasty.

Eat a cock, Jared!

Buy your hoagies from your local deli!

I agree, local delis are better than Subway. I also like Quiznos.

V... though, if I would have to choose between the two.... God help me, I guess I would choose Subway ( [MGross] ). Quiznos' roll to meat/veg/cheese ratio is a little too high for me.

I like Bi Rite subs but my wallet cries like a baby anytime I buy anything from there.

Cheese tessellation improves the flavor of cheese in ways that lesser, unsophisticated people couldn't possibly understand.

Alright, since this thread keeps being resurrected, you leave me no choice but to post the image I refrained from posting originally because it was too stupid.
