Some terrorist organizations may claim that a DNS attack brought the mighty Pfhorums down for the last few days.
I can assure you, the al Pfhraedo had nothing to do with this.
Also, they couldn't even get S7.
It was totally scheduled downtime. Move along.
Downtime
Phew. I thought the Pfhorums were down for good. Thanks for clearing that up! ![marathon [MUp]](./images/smilies/13.png)

I think that it might end up being a good thing for the internet, if only just a small one, if the Pfhorums died, but hell if that stops me from being happy that they're back!

Oh typical. The DAY I HAVE MY BIRTHDAY, THE PFHORUMS ARE DOWN. WHY ME?!

Thanks for announcing it after the fact.appleswitch wrote:It was totally scheduled downtime.
If it was scheduled downtime, how come effigy and I could use Pfhorums while it occurred? WHAT ARE YOU HIDING.

True. Although I was intrigued by what Tim said (that they'd planned a surprise... party for me).

ArchiveBot was on when no else was able to connect, also...perhaps we're moving to a server with support for email notifications?
Thank the sun that went nova so that Earth could have iron and silicon.
ArchiveBot is the Boretower of Pfhorums. I used it to take a screenshot of possibly the last view of Pfhorums.

Heres hoping that's a no. The last thing I, or anyone really, needs is to get bugged constantly - especially so when you consider the quality of about 90% of the bumps/posts.effigy wrote:support for email notifications?
I have been wading in a long river and my feet are wet.
They aren't enabled by default. Also, some of us know how to set up filters so we can control how much we get bugged.Lh wrote:Heres hoping that's a no. I understand. I just know my own habits, and it would be easy for me to let it slide, and be yet another 'thing to check'.Treellama wrote:They aren't enabled by default. Also, some of us know how to set up filters so we can control how much we get bugged.
