what site should i go to up load big files like the soundtrack. Fireball has a 100mb limit, and it loads un-godly slow for my connection. And unless you all want me to mail you each a labled cd (which is gonna cost ya about 75 cents, cause cd's are expensive), im going to need to know where i can put it up 4 u to download.

Have you tried leaving it to upload overnight?

If that is still too long I could probably host it for you for a while. PM me if you're interested.

Nope. I fact, I think more of those that do. [MUp]

I agree, at least, I did. Now I'm listening to Tycho's stuff

That's just about every redone and remixed marathon theme I could find.
I've been using these as a replacement for my original M1 themes for a while now.
...which is amazing. Bravo, chap.

I like Splash (the one by cannibal), Rushing (cannibal), Guardians (craig hardgrove), Fat Man (tobacco), and Swirls (tobacco) the most. i think most of these are not originals, though, but still, its marathon one music.

Dont judge me for this,

If I play marathon and want background music, I just play the halo sound track on iTunes, It works quiet well with the theme

Is it possible to get the original Marathon music into MP3 format, or playable in M1A1?

Hmm... I cant seem to open the site, it just loads, been loading for an houre now.

Ah, wait. It seems to be working now.

Speaking of music, anyone know how i could get the music from Marathon 2 and infinitys splash screens? The whole song i mean, not the short looping AO one.

Ah, this music is really good, it feels so retro, in a good way.

Interesting, I didn't know the collection from Sumner are the ones amongst others being used for Marathon: Ressurection.

Hey Everyone,

This is Craig... I usually post over at the story forum, but Vlad let me know about the phorums so I thought I would post something over here to let you know that he just completed a Drum N' Bass remix of my version of Guardians. You can pick it up at my website http://www.eigenhat.com/marathon

I also updated my website so all of the links to my remakes are working.

Thanks for keeping the Marathon spirit alive!

Hey I've acutally been wondering about your site... it has the midi files of the original marathon music thingies, but when I tried opening them in Melody assistant it didnt open them... like how do I open them? I need more music to shove down the throats and ears of my orchestra class.

Ah yes, the MIDIs. I used Marathon Music Exploder (a free program that used the original "Music" file from Marathon One, and that I thought claimed to output MIDIs). It looked to me like the output files were MIDIs but it has since come to my attention that they are actually Quicktime .mov files. I have updated my website so it doesn't say MIDIs anymore. I've received several emails asking about where people can actually find the MIDI files for the original soundtrack. I used to tell them that Marathon Music Exploder would do it, but it appears that is not the case.

You can find Marathon Music Exploder here http://fileball.net/marathon/item.fb?571327860

..and sure it enough, it does NOT claim to output MIDIs, so I guess I have just been mistaken and unknowingly lying to people for years :)

Sorry about the confusion.
