Oh hai.
Its seems as though I need some help with this.
I've installed it in my scenario folders just as the readme says,
but when I run AlephOne everything's the same.
I don't know if this matters, but I am using OpenGL.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Did you put the script (document with .mml attached) into the scripts folder and did you put the folder containing the actual weapons folder (specified by the readme) into the scenario folder? Also, is AlephOne in the same folder? Note, the weapons enhancement pack only works with Marathon 2 and Marathon Infinity as far as I know, so putting it in the folders for other scenarios is pointless.

Ok, does this mean you have a "wep" folder in your Marathon Infinity folder as well as a wep.mml in your scripts folder?
I only ask because if they are in the right place, the weapons enhancements should work.
The only other problems I can think of is that you either:
A. Don't have the most up to date version of A1.
B. You have other scripts in your scripts folder that are conflicting with the wep.mml.
What scenario are you using?
Is your A1 up to date?
What scripts are in your scripts folder?
I'm just trying to figure out your problem, so as much information as possible please.
Edit: Do you have OpenGL enabled in your A1 preferences?

Ok,
I think I've found the problem.
I have recently switched to Vista, about two days ago to be extact.
The problem is that when trying to put the 'wep' folder in my A1 folder, there were two items in the wep folder with the same name, conflicting the extraction process.
While trying to fix this I ran into a brick wall, A.k.a Windows Vista. I can't rename the files.
Well, I'm off to some vista forums.
And yes, I always use OpenGL.

I am having the exact same issue with extracting. If you find a solution, please let me know. I don't understand why Vista has such trouble with this. I was attempting to unzip the new Eternal and was unable to do so (well, you can manually delete the empty folders and files and click "try again," but this takes literally hours). The Tail Fin wrote:The problem is that when trying to put the 'wep' folder in my A1 folder, there were two items in the wep folder with the same name, conflicting the extraction process.

Ah, yea I noticed that when I recently got my new PC that has Vista installed. I made WEP on my mac which puts hidden files in the folder for some reason, and the Vista built-in zip extractor doesn't like it.
EDIT: I have re-uploaded the zip file without those 0kb duplicate files. Download it here: http://www.simplici7y.com/items/weapon-enhancement-pack
