is it possible?

cause god forbid i want to pay for obed

(when i gotz no money)

My Xp Crashed, and weland wont work on my grandparents computer (My accounts limited)

So my summer project computer is basically my last resort

(until i get my ubuntu laptop for christmas)

according to the README

you need .NET 3.5

(or higher)

And GTK#

Neither of these support Windows 98

(u gotz problems)

You can still use Obed, you will only have to deal with the registration message.

Can you install Linux on your summer projects computer? Windows 98 won't do--even Aleph One isn't supported there.

i got a openBSD image (for emulation).i think i can make a boot (justz has to find it)

but Alephone, im able to run the current version on it

Yeah, that'll never run Weland. Win 98 isn't even the problem.

what would be the minimum amt of RAM to run weland. Just in case i strike gold and decided to order on walmart.com

or could i allocate virtual memory?

I'd like to just give my opinion that buying new ram to upgrade that machine is a good idea.

With Weland open and using the standard Infinity shapes and map, I'm seeing a resident size of about 110 MB for Mono. It will probably be similar for .NET. Then add in whatever the OS and all your other programs take.

Nothing you would enjoy using, I'm sure. Obed is probably the best way to go.

Obed isn't really that bad. I used Obed until Weland came out, and I got relatively decent at it. In some ways, it's even easier than Weland.
