Hello! I'm new to whole marathon series (I just got this game converted to OS X yesterday from a friend of mine) and I like the game so far . So tell me guys, who are the people to respect (the admins, moderators) and what's good !

I'm from europe and I live on +2 hours GMT and I'm usually online from like 3PM-9PM catch me up sometime!


Oh and btw, if anyone plays halo, I've played it for 4 years so far and am a mac gamer. I play halo demo (Macintosh) and halo full version. if any of you guys play halo, i'll be glad to catch you up!

Saw him on AIM. Anyways, he showed me some scripts but didn't have really much time to show how they work. so I'd like to have that script that shows that who was killed by who and if there's anything like picked up ammo HUD text it would be nice.

The script you're talking actually comes with Aleph One, it should be in a folder called "extras". It's probably called "carnage script.lua" or something similar; just copy it into your "scripts" folder which should be in the same folder as the aleph one application (with maps, shapes, sounds etc.).

Also, the hud already shows you how much ammo you have, you just need to page through the inventory.

I think I found the site were you got this package. I don't have Mac OS, so I'm not seeing any icons and the folder structure is different. I think you'd be better off using the official Marathon resource here because if he's using a modified version of the AlephOne engine I don't think he's giving full credit to AlephOne anywhere in the package that I can see (i.e., source code, modified source code, and copying/license information). I assume "Aleph One Website" is a html link? Maybe that's all the credit needed, but I don't know.
